100% remote location anywhere within the USA; however, candidate selected its preferred they work CST hours. Work Schedule: M-F 8-5 p.m and every other Sunday for validation support which would include 1-2 hrs starting at 7:30 a.m. CST.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the test plan and test case creation, execution and validations of a product or group of products and offers through development and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan. Viewed as testing owner for the product and offers throughout the life cycle. Collaborate with testing teams to create and conducts testing demosand production validations to ensure consistency with overall marketing and corporate strategy, and achieve product performance, revenue, market share, and profitability objectives. Provides continuing product surveillance and management of established products.Assist other Rate Implementation team members in the creation of technical requirements for input to LS-ETM and UBM for targeted DIRECTV products and offers.
Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree.
Experience: Typically requires experience in similar area of responsibility.
Supervisory: No
1) Requirements review - collaboration with analysts to update requirements where needed.
2) Triage defects and report on defect impacts.
3) Troubleshoot defects /non defects for functional area of expertise that are blocking test progress.
4) Subject Matter Expert in at least 1 functional area per application the tester works on.
5) Write test cases from a variety of documentation types.
6) Applies test expertise and experience to execute test plans, conduct negative/exception tests, verification, performance and regression testing, and UAT testing.
7) Full understanding of all aspects of Defect lifecycle.
8) Understanding of structured SDLC environment.
