Role: Lead Database Developer
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: full-time
Rate : 105K

Onsite offshore is must
Must join on H1 receipt
Database developer with SQL Server and Oracle.

Description
Who are we looking for?
A Database Developer with experience in both SQL Server and Oracle who can work on a project for one of our biggest client in wealth management domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing cutting edge technology applications
Must have skills
Requires 7+ years of experience in Strong T-SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
Should be able to write complex queries Using different SQL commands
Well versed in Functions/Triggers/Stored procedures/Views/Linked Servers etc. Ability to decided when to use what.
Ability to create and Schedule SQL jobs for automation.
Good knowledge in Performance tuning .
Strong knowledge in Development and Deployment of ETL packages using SSIS from different data sources and destinations. Knowledge of SSISDB
Knowledge in Oracle partitioning and understanding on Oracle standby databases
Knowledge in scheduling jobs in Oracle
Knowledge in using SQL Loader, Expdp and Impdp
Strong knowledge in Development and Deployment of SSRS reports.
Basic Knowledge of System DBA skills like Backup/Restore/DB Maintenance/Installation etc.
Strong Knowledge in using SQL profiler and setting up trace when needed.
Knowledge in Mongodb is a plus
Knowledge of SQL Redgate tool is a plus
Knowledge of Jenkins to deploy code and promote is a plus
Key responsibilities
Be engaged in the discussion with various project stakeholders: Application SME, Capacity Management Team, Infrastructure team
Requirement gathering and analysis.
Develop effective code which serves functional requirement as well as meet performance criteria
Prepare unit test plan and test scripts.
Execute the test scripts, address issues and prepare test results.
Collaborate with QA team to get the required testing completed for the code changes
Release management activities for deploying the code in Production
