This will be a HYBRID schedule. Selected candidate will be required to be ONSITE at least 2-3 days PER WEEK for the FIRST MONTH. After the first month, hybrid schedule will be more flexible, but onsite presence will still be required AS NEEDED for key presentations, meetings with agency stakeholders, etc. ONLY SUBMIT LOCAL candidates who are WILLING TO BE ONSITE at least 2-3 times per week for the first month, and as needed for the remainder of the engagement.
2 - This position requires someone who has worked as a PM with a strong focus in Infrastructure and Operations: servers (virtual and physical), storage, backup, DR, data center operations; customer oriented, strong presentation and communication skills. Do not submit candidates if they do not clearly display this infrastructure PM background.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Project Manager will collaborate with various agencies and New Hampshire Department of Information Technology(DoIT) organizations to manage Infrastructure focused ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to assess and align management, business and IT resources required to meet requirements and deliverables for medium to large-scale projects within the Infrastructure & Operations and User Services Portfolio.
• Develop project plans, with defined timelines, deliverables, etc. to effectively and efficiently meet requirements that insure successful completion of deployments and implementation of ARPA and Capital funded IT solutions for medium (agency) to large-scale (statewide) projects.
• Monitor project milestones to ensure alignment with defined timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor project activities to ensure they are within scope and adhere to applicable state and DoIT policies, procedures, and standards.
• Monitor and, where necessary, recommend courses of action for any project activities that are at risk, deficient or not compliant with regulations or requirements.
• Schedule, facilitate and document results of project meetings, work sessions, etc.
• Provide scheduled and ongoing reporting to key stakeholders on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
• Engage key stakeholders when project deliverables are at risk and recommend courses of action required to mitigate project risk.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop new, and update existing policies, procedures, standards, and required to support the project outcomes.
• Communicates and meets with project team and key stakeholders on a regular basis.
Project Details:
• Projects will be infrastructure focused, medium to large sized, and will include some or all of the following:
o Migration of VM workloads to 3rd party data center(s)
o Evaluate our current DR plan, solution and implement a DRaaS (Disaster Recovery as a Service) solution for critical State systems
o Replace the State's legacy backup solution to provide additional cyber protection, address disaster recovery shortfalls, and add capabilities to address agency and legal considerations.
o Roll out Cloud-native backup for the M365 environment to include Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint using AvePoint solution.
o Investigate the current use cases for the State's legacy Secure File Transfer products to develop a set of solutions to be implemented that satisfies the State's compliancy needs
Skills and Technologies:
• Background in IT with a strong focus in Infrastructure and Operations: servers (virtual and physical), storage, backup, DR, data center operations; customer oriented, strong presentation and communication skills
• 5-8 years managing medium to large size infrastructure projects, PMP Certification a plus
• knowledge of data centers and implementations
• standard project management tools - knowledge of Smartsheets and M365 (Teams, SharePoint) a plus;
• Strong communication skills, ability to present project updates and materials to a variety of stakeholders, senior leadership and various agencies.

Experience as a PM managing medium to large infrastructure projects across multiple customer groups/agencies/depts. Required 5 Years
PM Infrastructure experience focused on servers (virtual and physical), storage, backup, DR, & data center operations Required 5 Years
Experience providing scheduled & ongoing reporting to key stakeholders on project status, milestones, and deliverables. Required 5 Years
Experience developing project plans, defined timelines & deliverables to effectively and efficiently meet requirements for implementations. Required 5 Years
Experience engaging key stakeholders when project deliverables are at risk & recommending courses of action to mitigate risk. Required 5 Years
Experience collaborating w/key stakeholders to develop and/or update existing policies, procedures, and standards to support project outcomes. Required 3 Years
Experience with Smartsheets and M365 (Teams, SharePoint) Highly desired    
PMP Certification Desired
