Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 7+ years of experience in digital / visual design
• 7+ years of experience in front-end development
• Undergraduate degree in design and or front-end development related discipline.
• Knowledge and experience working in an agile team
• Working expertise in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Spring, Spring Boot)
• Experience leveraging Design Thinking frameworks
• Graphic Design experience would be considered a strong asset for this role
• Ability to work independently taking the lead all completing various critical design deliverables
• Ability to provide design theory and execution
• Aptitude in exercising sound judgment while making decisions and handle confidential information with discretion
• A dynamic, diligent, and effective influencer with can-do attitude to exercise initiative and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
• A strong communicator with established user experience skills who can effectively connect, both verbally and in writing, with customers/colleagues and related teams in a courteous, and effective manner
• UX Research experience is an asset
• Working a part of a business & technology transformation is an asset
