Role Description
Mphasis is seeking GCP Technical Specialist (Infrastructure) who is a Cloud Architect, contributing to different phases of the implementation and service operation lifecycle. This role will be involved in service operations, improvements, advice; work on the problems and contribute to the solution development. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Customer team, Cloud Architects, SME. The GCP Technical Specialist needs to maintain best practices and collaborates with the Client architecture and application teams to set the technical vision and target architecture.

Must Have Skills:
Experience in Google Cloud Platform, GCP Architect Certification.

Good to Have Skills:
Experience in Azure, AWS & Private cloud.

Job Requirements:
10-15 years of experience in IT Industry, specifically as Cloud Architect in the areas of Public & Private clouds.
Serve as the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect to clients within Mphasis team engagements for design, architecture, and deployment in the GCP cloud space.
Having at least 4 different client RPA implementations where the contribution is exemplary and significant.
Perform as a partner with leading Cloud Service Provider (CSPs) and enterprises to meet security goals and pave the way for digital transformation and modernization.
Engage in designing and implementing secure and compliant enterprise servers, network infrastructure, boundary protection, and cloud architectures using Infrastructure-as-Code.
Authoring and peer review of detailed design documentation, including security documentation and inclusive of vendor best practices.
Ability to develop architectural blueprints, roadmap, strategy documents against transformational requirements such as cloud migrations, hybrid cloud setup, assessment of application movement to public cloud etc.
Perform environmental analysis on quarterly/monthly basis to identify architectural improvement opportunities
Work on complex/long running issues or project as per need
Work with DCS practice teams for capability building, pre-sales support for new opportunities
Ability to creates, Contributes, and Implements to best practices of Operation.
Detailed expertise in common infra. Activities (i.e. Patch Mgt., Migrations, Upgrades, Assessments etc
Create and validate the current and future state business processes with business partners
Able to call out technical risks and dependencies pertaining to RPA development and deployments and suggest mitigation tactics.
Work with clients to understand business challenges, use cases and come up with comprehensive, thoughtful, elegant solutions to meet the customer needs.


Preferred Skills
B. E / B. Tech in Electronics/Telecommunications computer science or equivalent degree in IT related field.
Good presentation and communication skill.
Leadership skill: Team handling skills.
Should have led at least 2-3 large size transformational projects as technology architect
Has exposure to pre-sales support and capability building activities
Has worked in Metrix role with an ability to work independently with multiple managers with dotted line hierarchies
Grooming of team members on various aspects of technology and client requirement.
Keeping abreast of industry trends, technology innovation, and changing customer requirements to help with the continual service improvement process
Ensure that excellent customer service is being provided to project teams on a consistent basis.
