Full Stack Java, Microservices / API Developer

Location: Anywhere in the US or Canada

Job Description:

As a Microservices Developer you’ll join a team responsible for developing a leading edge CI/CD process. You'll develop responsive full stack components and contribute to the overall Microservices Architecture, DevOps and Infrastructure development life-cycle. You’ll leverage your strong technical skills in developing seamless and scalable solutions on a long-term engagement alongside industry experts.

Requirements

  • Over 7+ year experience
  • Experience in Java 1.8+ Spring Boot Microservices, Springboot, Restful Services (JAX-RS), REST, Java Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Mockito), Git, Jenkins, Understanding of Cloud infrastructure
  • Proficient in Full Stack JAVA development and open-source technologies
  • Proficiency building modern user interfaces with Angular or React JS
  • Experience in building Spring Boot based applications with microservices patterns and being cloud ready
  • Recent experience with Azure loud platform. Utilization of Container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working on Agile teams leveraging test driven development, pair programming, and continuous integration
  • Ability to recommend technical improvements and drive implementation in the organization
  • Good knowledge about continuous integration tools e.g., GIT, Jenkins etc.
  • Working knowledge on Automation Tools e.g., Selenium, Cucumber etc.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Experience with Agile application development concepts including build automation, pair programming, testing automation and code management (branching and forking etc.)
  • Familiar with Agile process and related tools like JIRA
  • Experience using various tools used in development– STS/IntelliJ, SoapUI, Postman, Bitbucket, Git, JMeter, etc.
  • Responsible for Design, Development, Code reviews (peer review), Unit testing, providing support to testing team, Defect fixing, Defect triaging, Root causes Analysis and release / deployment support.
  • Experience with SQL and no-SQL query (MongoDB) to write basic operations
  • Experience with securing API using different authentication mechanism- Ouath2, etc
