As an Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Functional consultant, your primary role is to provide functional expertise and support in the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud Payroll module. You will collaborate with clients, business users, and technical teams to understand payroll requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful payroll processing and compliance. Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Configuration: Configure and set up the Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll module based on business requirements, including payroll elements, balances, formulas, and payroll processes.
  2. Payroll Implementation: Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand payroll requirements, design payroll solutions, and lead the implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll.
  3. Payroll Data Management: Manage and validate payroll-related data, such as employee information, earnings, deductions, taxes, and other payroll-related elements.
  4. Payroll Processing: Oversee and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing cycles, including pre-processing validation, running payroll calculations, and post-processing auditing.
  5. Payroll Reporting: Create and generate payroll-related reports, payslips, and other documents required for compliance and business insights.
  6. Payroll Compliance: Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements in relevant regions to ensure payroll processing is compliant with local laws.
  7. Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues, discrepancies, and errors, providing timely and effective solutions to stakeholders.
  8. Testing and Validation: Conduct functional testing and validation of payroll configurations and changes to ensure accuracy and system integrity.
  9. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of payroll processes, configurations, and functional specifications.
  10. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and payroll administrators on using the Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll system effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Functional consultant, including successful implementation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll module and its functionalities.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing concepts, regulations, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with HR and payroll-related laws and regulations in relevant regions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll.
  • Experience with other Oracle Cloud modules, such as Core HR and Benefits.
  • Knowledge of integrations with third-party payroll systems or other HR-related applications.
