Looking for a data engineer with some Machine Learning experience and exposure, to assist Commercial Credit Risk Management at Capital One.
Their work will be tied to a brand new initiative the team is trying to kick off in Q4 of 2025. This team will be responsible for:
-BEAST3 & EMP IMS (Interactive Model Scoring) Onboarding
-Data engineering is more important than MLE, but some exposure to LLMs is required.
-Need someone who will pick up a problem and immediately solve and communicate back succinctly.
Current end to end model deployment is very complicated. Patches on patches, legacy systems. We want to rationalize our code base, what kind of code belongs to models. Make changes in the model moving forward. This kind of arch hasn't been designed yet. How can we release models and design testing around them in high level way? Project hasn't started, trying to get a resources to assist with data engineering and architecture design. Then we won't have to troubleshoot legacy issues moving forward.

Hybrid in McLean, VA - 2-3 days/week
