Job Title: Cognos Developer
Location: Dallas, TX/Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
 
Job Description:
Required Skills
  • Administering, configuring, tuning, and maintaining Cognos Analytics in Non-production and Production environments.
  • Maintain the integrity, performance, security and availability of multiple Cognos application server environments. This includes install, upgrade, patching, performance analysis and tuning, and monitoring of Cognos servers.
  • Performing daily Cognos activities, such as report/package/cube deployments, managing users access, monitoring schedules, and monitoring overall system
  • Working with Cognos developers, IBM support, database administrators, and other IT operations resources to troubleshoot issues and ensure the system is working properly
  • Working with business users to design and develop Cognos Analytics 11.2 reports using Report Studio with data drill-down and slice-and-dice options
 
Nice to have skills
  • Working knowledge in AWA (Automic Workload Automation), Jira
  • JavaScript, D3 Charts, PL/SQL Knowledge
  • Cognos SDK and Dynamic Cubes Knowledge
