Job Description :
Create and implement a cloud strategy working with the HRSA cloud team to manage the adoption/migration process from on-premise application to GovCloud.
Develop, organize, and migrate systems or sub-systems to Azure government cloud.
Work closely with IT security to monitor and resolve cloud privacy issues. Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud and on-premises.
Identify the cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the customer and program.
Must demonstrate experience in cloud computing using Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) certified environments or services, cloud security, application containerization, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
Familiarity with all the services available in the GovCloud platform to define adoption/migration strategy.
Assume Technical Ownership/Support of Project Implementations
Knowledge of monitoring an IT environment a plus (datacenters, applications, uptime reports, service metrics)
Must be able to host infrastructure in virtualized and cloud environments.
Basic Qualification
Minimum of 7 years’ experience
Excellent Windows/LINUX tools/utilities, scripting, and basic administration skills
Certification in Microsoft and/or competing Azure Cloud Technologies is desired.
Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies across Windows and Linux, with demonstrated hands-on experience on one or more of the following domains:
Application development & debugging experience with C/C++/C#, Python, Node.JS, etc.
Website troubleshooting & coding experience: IIS, Azure Web Apps, PHP, Apache, Tomcat, WordPress, etc
Experience in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, Open Source) desired.
