Job Purpose
The Senior WYSE Engineer Role will act as the last line of support for all incidents, requests, problems, and changes associated to their area of infrastructure whilst also providing guidance, mentoring and cover to analysts and Heads of respectively.
The role is essential to the organisation and will be a technical expert within their field, this would result in extensive involvement in project planning for future services as well as maintenance and upgrade planning for existing. As the role holder would be expected to provide technical assurance for all changes within the remit of their technology tower and be accountable for the stability within their technologies.
The role would be the last line of support in relation to the technology area of expertise.
•    Maintain 99.9 % availability of the Citrix environment.
•    Maintain tickets SLA and ensure ITIL compliance for all incidents and requests.
•    Analyse and resolve escalated issues.
•    Provide root cause analysis of high priority incidents and recurring issues.
•    Work on service improvement plans, problem tickets and prepare SOP's.
•    Automate tasks and prepare health check scripts.
•    Prepare capacity reports and forecasts for the Citrix environment.
•    Coordinate and partner with infrastructure teams for swift resolution of issues.
•    Provide guidance and runbooks support documentation for L1 and L2 support teams.
•    Adherence to process and policies laid down by the organization.
•    Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and facilitate fix/patch deployments.
•    Mentoring support engineers and junior support staff in all aspects of their specialism.
•    Maintain and manage standards for the Health care IT infrastructure and associated systems in line with industry best practice.
•    Plan and implement all hardware and software upgrades, both from a technical & user perspective.
•    Ensure that all security management procedures are adhered to.
•    Work with the organisation in developing and executing continuous service improvements by ensuring any appropriate functionality and new technologies are identified and escalated to management.
•    Deliver routine management, monitoring and reporting capabilities within your area of infrastructure.

•    8 - 10 Years of Experience in Citrix Administration which includes XenDesktop 7.x, PVS, WEM and VDIs, NetScaler.
•    6-7 Years of experience in supporting other core technologies: windows, VMware, Group policy management, Nutanix, Dell Wyse Thin clients.
•    4-5 Years of experiencing in implementing and supporting Wyse Management Suite

OS and Networking:
•    Strong technical skills on Windows 10, 2008, 2012 R2 and 2016 Server.
•    Strong technical skills with Wyse Management Studio
•    Good knowledge of VMWare concepts, Nutanix and VM deployments.
•    Good understanding on networking concepts, topologies & devices.
•    Good knowledge on Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP and Group Policies
•    Good knowledge on PowerShell scripting.
•    Analytical skills to identify, isolate, troubleshoot, and suggest/recommend solutions.
•    Good knowledge on thin client, server hardware and networking devices.
•    Expert knowledge on Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop 7.x, PVS and WEM (workspace environment manager).
•    Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of XenApp and XenDesktop. Have performed Citrix upgrade and farm migration from planning through implementation.
•    Design and deploy Citrix Provisioning services.
•    Good skills on configuring Citrix and WEM Policies.
•    Manage Citrix profiles through UPM and WEM.
•    Manage and monitoring Citrix Farm utilization and capacity.
•    Good experience in Citrix upgrade and migration.
•    Manage multiple vdisks and versioning on PVS sites.
•    Good understanding on PVS, dhcp concepts and PXE boot process.
•    Deploy and manage large vdi farms.
•    Good knowledge and troubleshooting skills in printer related issues in Citrix environment
•    Good experience in deploying and integrating print solutions in Citrix environment.
•    Good experience in DR testing which involves invoking DR and failing over to DR environment.
•    Good understanding on Citrix licensing models.
•    Good skills in capacity management and forecast.
•    NetScaler & Access Gateway
•    Sound knowledge on NetScaler and Access Gateway
•    Troubleshoot NetScaler and Access Gateway errors.
•    Monitor utilization and prepare capacity reports.
