Job Title: Business Intelligence Solution Architect
Job Location- Chicago/ Remote
Salary: No bar for the right candidate
Required Qualifications:
· COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption
· At least 5 years in BI/DWH with variety of platforms and industries; 3 years of relevant experience in OBIEE/OBIA Platform Preferred
· Strong operational experience with Oracle 19c Enterprise Edition, including backup and recovery scenarios
· At least 5 years of Data Warehousing Experience
· 6+ years of experience using relational concepts with Oracle's SQL and PL/SQL languages including Data Warehousing database design concepts
· ETL Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is a plus
· Experience with ERP integration
· Knowledge of Oracle's prebuilt BI Applications (OBIA) for E-Business Suite, Siebel, OTM or PeopleSoft is highly desirable
· Business processes or knowledge/experience of developing BI solutions for enterprise process
· Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform, Data Lake, BigQuery
· Experience with customizing the functional setups of OBIA & ETL Mappings (Pre-Packaged Analytics) for modules like Financial, SCM, and HRMS
· SME in Industry leading ETL/Data Integration tools
· Well versed with Linux (or other flavors of Unix) operating system and should be comfortable in writing shell script
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related required.
Responsibilities:
· Participate in research, requirements definition, planning, design and execution of projects on enterprise Business Intelligence initiatives
· Knowledge of/experience with formal delivery methodologies
· Manage customer expectations to ensure strong customer satisfaction by meeting the business needs for IT systems in a timely manner
· Performance tuning and enforcing repository best practices
· Collaborate with business areas and data owners to successfully implement and maintain an enterprise level business analytics and data warehousing solution
· Develop front-end, metadata and ETL specification to support business requirements for reporting across the organization
· Work with Oracle Support on product bugs
· Deploy Security Architecture
· Administer Group/Role creation and privileges
· Assign Groups/Roles to users
· Modify Security as per the business needs
· Deploy Code migration method and manage release control
· Configure OBIEE for multi-user, concurrent development and manage
· Manage OBI Presentation Service privileges
· Support Application performance tuning
· Review RPD and Web Catalog and make performance recommendations
· Make configuration changes to improve performance
· Working in Google Cloud Platform, Data Lake, BigQuery
