Immediate need for a talented Business Data Analyst. This is a 11+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $30 - $35/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designs, updates and maintains dashboards and visual reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to support asset-level insights and decision-making.
  • Performs data validations, reconciliations, and quality checks to uphold data integrity across systems and platforms.
  • Supports the implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks and standards, including metadata management and business glossary development.
  • Collaborates with business and technology stakeholders to define and document business terms, data definitions and quality rules for key asset data.
  • Assists with ad hoc data analysis requests, including data extraction, transformation, and visualization to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Provides data support for internal and external reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Participates in the development and upkeep of data catalog and governance documentation to promote transparency and data stewardship .
