Immediate need for a talented Business Consultant (Mid). This is a 03+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range:$60/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the analysis of client business processes, goals, and challenges.
  • Conducting research and gathering data to support consulting engagements.
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation, such as project plans, reports, and presentations.
  • Developing and delivering client deliverables, such as recommendations and action plans.
  • Leading client meetings and workshops to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  • Collaborating with team members to develop and implement solutions that meet client needs.
  • Developing and delivering client presentations and workshops.
  • Identifying and documenting project risks and issues, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Managing client relationships and expectations.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior consultants.
  • A Mid-level Business Consultant should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • They should have a deep understanding of consulting methodologies and tools, as well as experience in managing consulting projects.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Key Skills:Excel Pivot tables (no exceptions).
  • Prior experience with month-end close process
  • At least 3 years of experience in areas of month-end close and budget management.
  • Accrual experience is required
  • Hyperion reporting experience. Should be able to pull data from the system, no coding needed.
  • Utility background helpful, but not required. Month-end close experience from any industry will be helpful.
  • Bachelor’s degree needed. Business or Finance or Accounting major preferred.
  • Being comfortable reaching out to people, ability to consolidate information in numerical form, attention to details, deadline driven.
