Description: Technical Business Analyst (TBA) gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes business needs, documenting requirements/stories and revising existing system and process logic issues. Analyzing complex business problems and assessing how automated systems can solve them Translating business requirements into highly specified project requirements.
 
Duties:
Work with the Business Team/Product Owners to define requirements, work with business stakeholders for prioritization and delivery of new capabilities, features, defect fixes, and functionality.
MUST be experienced in SCRUM/Agile development methodology;
MUST be experienced with Jira Understand business use cases and end-user needs; develop user stories and acceptance criteria that deliver on business and end-user needs; identify and manage the backlog collaboratively with dev tech leads to create sprint releases to meet those needs
As a member of the development team, reporting to technical lead, maximize the value of the role during all stages of product development and delivery activities, including user story development, sprint planning and reviews, and product backlog management Provide scope oversight and guidance in development planning to determine the team's objectives for the upcoming product sprint releases
Manage the product backlog in partnership with the Business Team/Product Owners Escalate any technical impediments to the Tech Leads. Escalate Risks that could impact the project to the Project Management Work with the development team to ensure features, bugs, and enhancements are addressed and scoped in an Agile fashion
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, story refinement/grooming and team retrospectives; ensure team has a clear understanding of the priorities, the stories on the backlog, and the product vision and how the stories relate to another
Lead Backlog requirements sessions with the Business Team/Product Owners in order to create a logical backlog that can be actioned upon by the dev team Utilize and incorporate feedback from the Business Team/Product Owners into enhancements Experienced and comfortable with Agile approach Banking/Financial/Regulatory experience required
 
Required:
The BA is responsible for understanding the business requirements and translating them into technical specifications that the development team can understand and implement.
Practitioners must have a technical and project management background, in addition to strong interpersonal skills to work in a team environment and foster client relationships.
Strong writing ability and must be able to tell a story with data through strong writing and presentation skills
Ability to create / develop Online dashboards
Experienced team member working in the Global Business Operations (GBO)
Risk Management
Business Process Improvement
Provide business analyst support by creating requirements, release notes and technical stories for the creation and deployment of a new in house risk and independence application.
Acting as a liason between digital design team, development team
Experience with MS Office / Azure devops is required
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office products, Visio and the Agile software development lifecycle are musts, as is experience working with SQL for querying data.
