BI Architect is responsible for design of the overall BIApplication, which includes the following: creating navigation and userinterface, Setting Coding Standard, creating and maintaining report casterfunctionality and developing SSO WebFOCUS functionality



Required

Bachelor degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field froman accredited institution

5 years of WebFOCUS systems experience - developing reports,dashboards, and portals in WebFOCUS

Experience with Report Caster and single sign-ons

Extensive experience with AppStudio

Experience implementing SSO security using LDAP and AD

Data Visualization expertise; selecting the right visualrepresentation based on the data

In-depth experience building the infrastructure and migration ofreports from WebFOCUS 8 and above

In-depth experience using WebFOCUS 8 and above to develop the following:master file/meta data, dashboards, Guided Ad-Hoc Reporting Application,ReportCaster, InfoAssist, report painter, managed reporting, and CascadingStyle Sheets (CSS)

Strong SQL programming skills

Java Script, jQuery, HTML5 experience

Strong SQL programming skills

Ability to optimize WebFOCUS request in order to createefficient SQL queries

Understanding of Netezza/SQL server

In-depth understanding of Business Intelligence solutions forcustomer

Analytical or development work within a healthcare or insurancesector, is highly advantageous

Analytical work within a large database environment, preferableSQL server and/or DB2 Data Warehouse

Experience working directly with end users to gatherrequirements and subsequently develop into static reports, guided ad-hocreports, and custom dashboards

Strong communication skills

Demonstrated ability to successfully work with differenttechnical and business stakeholders

Analytical and problem solving skills

Experience training and mentoring developers towards solution development and implementation

Ability to lead requirement gathering sessions with end users

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines

Ability to work independently and as a team member

Familiarity with project management and systems development lifecycle processes, tools, concepts and methodologies
