Position: Azure Architect

Job Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and design Azure-based solutions that align with the organization's goals.
- Architecture Planning: Develop cloud architecture blueprints and roadmaps, considering factors like scalability, availability, performance, security, and cost optimization.
- Cloud Infrastructure Deployment: Implement and deploy Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networks, and security measures.
- Migration Strategy: Develop strategies for migrating on-premises applications and workloads to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Cloud Governance: Define and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for cloud resource management, security, and compliance.
- Security and Identity Management: Implement robust security measures and identity management solutions using Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Centre, and other relevant tools.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance, cost, and reliability, leveraging tools like Azure Monitor and Azure Advisor.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans using Azure Site Recovery, backup services, and geo-redundancy options.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate technical designs and recommendations effectively, and maintain accurate documentation of Azure architectures.
Required Skills:
- Azure Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with various Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
- Architecture Design: Ability to architect scalable, reliable, and secure solutions using Azure services and adhere to architectural best practices.
- Cloud Security: Strong understanding of cloud security principles and hands-on experience implementing security controls and identity management in Azure.
- Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in infrastructure automation using tools like Azure Resource Manager templates, Azure PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
- Networking: Understanding of Azure networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, VPNs, load balancers, and network security groups.
- DevOps and CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Git, and Azure DevTest Labs.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency in Azure.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, articulate technical concepts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
