Job Title : AWS Technical Architect
Location : Dallas, TX
Duration : 10 months+
If selected there will be background and credit check, drug test and fingerprinting since it is for a Government domain client.

Qualifications :
Minimum of 8-10 years of solutions development experience with at least 3+ years in cloud environments
At least 6 years of verifiable experience serving as an architect on technical projects.
Proven hands-on experience with developing and migrating web applications securely in AWS using services such as Lambda, EC2, EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), data storage services such as RDS, Aurora etc.
Proven hands-on experience with moving, integrating, reporting, and securing data in the cloud with services such as Glue, S3, Athena, RDS, RedShift etc.
Experience in AWS technologies such as CloudTrail, CloudWatch, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana), keys and certificate management, Cloud Front, VPN and networking configuration, firewalls, routing etc.
Required experience on:
* monitoring Hybrid environment, troubleshooting issues and resolution.
* scripting and creation of IAC templates (preferably Terraform
* CI/CD, DevOps/DevSecOps practices in Cloud using Jenkins, CloudFormation, Terraform etc.
* At least 7 years of experience using relational database technology, including being able to write SQL.
* Ability to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles which can be confirmed by prior experience.
* Ability to apply various IT concepts like DevOps, scripting, middleware, database and integration technologies to establish data platforms and solutions to meet the project objectives.
Nice to Have: (Not mandatory):
AWS Developer/Architect certification is a plus
Knowledge of integration services like MuleSoft platform for integrating with on-premise applications or databases.
Experience with Federal Reserve System projects or work teams a plus.
Experience with commonly used enterprise SaaS platforms such as Appian, Salesforce, Sitecore, SharePoint etc. • Experience with RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
Experience with Docker or related containerization technologies • Experience using Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Sqoop, Flume, Hive, Impala, and Spark.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for architecture and design of solutions that incorporate integrations with software-as-a-service solutions for overall hybrid system design.
Responsible for driving the design and development of platforms, systems, processes, and logic required on applications and projects with moderate to high complexity.
Works with the team in driving architectural discussions and decision-making processes to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, cost effectiveness and agreed upon service levels in the cloud.
Provides advanced level design and engineering support of data integration and software systems for developing, integrating, or migrating systems to AWS along with other Software as a Service integrations.
Mentors, coaches, delegates, provides technical leadership, and fosters high performing technical teams to improve Cloud-related technical abilities.
Provides information for risk assessments regarding development and maintenance of IT security controls and protocols to protect applications and information in the Cloud.
Documents best practices and processes related to development practices, configuration, operational and security settings for Cloud solution development and operations.
Works independently or in a team environment and requires guidance in only complex situations.
