AWS Developer with REST API experience for Federal Client ( CMS – Center For Medicare and Medicaid)
( Woodlawn area close to CMS main office)

Job Description:
Provide development in an Agile methodology with AWS and Java technologies
Understand coding standards and implement these standards within the code being developed.
Communicate effectively with team members during scrums.
Demonstrated ability to deliver end products on schedule.
Demonstrated ability design solutions for complex projects.
Willingness to learn, adopt and implement new technologies timely as project.
Strong customer service and coordination skills combined with the ability to work effectively within a team and the customer to provide technical solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field.
Excellent Knowledge of: Java (openjdk11), REST APIs, J2EE, SWT, ANT HTML, JavaScript and jQuery, Auroara DB
Knowledge of: Agile tools git, jira, slack, splunk
Knowledge of: Docker, jenkins, terraform JBoss Application Server, Apache.
Knowledge of: Hibernate or Struts or Spring framework.
Knowledge of: Data structures, Algorithms, OBDC, JBDC Drivers.
Excellent Knowledge of: AWS Cloud Services, Cloud implementation and DevSecOps with prior demonstrated experience in AWS technology
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in the English language.
Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, keen eye for details, desire for continual learning, robust analytical skills
