JOB DESCRIPTION:
Apply Oracle programming, graphical reporting, and ETL experience to enhance and maintain a complex, internally developed, Clinical Trials Reporting system.
Preferable knowledge in ETL Activities like data processing through different source systems.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards, using the Izenda BI platform. Prior Izenda experience not required. Apply knowledge of BI tools and graphical reporting.
Manage time effectively. Accurately estimate effort for tasks and meet agreed-upon deadlines. Effectively juggle ad-hoc requests and longer-term projects.
Adhere to SOPs for computer system validation and all GCP (Good Clinical Practice) regulations. Respond promptly to requests from Validation/Test team for documentation or bug fixes.
Gain knowledge of clinical data and terms used in clinical trials. Have an interest in understanding the science behind clinical drug research.

Level of Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Prior Experience
4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle including 11g or higher, performing database design, and package, view, function and stored procedure development
4+ years of experience in report development, including exposure to Business Intelligence Tools and ETL (Extract Transform Load) technologies
Preferred but not required, is experience with the clinical data domain, the clinical trial process, computer system validation processes, and GCP and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations. Candidate is required to have a keen interest in mastering the subject matter.
