Job description:


He is looking for an RTE (with SAFe exp/certifications preferably) on a contract to hire basis. . Communication skills and motivation are a big factor in this role.
Bryon is looking for a plug and play RTE. He described this individuals role as coaching his tribe of scrum masters (4 in total). He uses the word "coaching " and not "training ". They will be making suggestions and helping the scrum masters with no management responsibilities. Bryon also described all RTEs as Agile coaches but not all agile coaches are RTEs. Example: the RTE will have specific and stringent responsibilities around PI event planning, building out road maps and documenting procedures that an agile coach will not have. A SAFe certification will be a big plus for this person.


Position Purpose: Plan and integrate the daily activities of multiple teams.
Coordinate the plans and activities of the organization with senior leaders inside and outside IT.
Apply technical and process expertise to address challenging technical and business issues
Responsible for planning, monitoring, executing and implementing projects.
Coach personnel increasing and honing appropriate skills and behaviors.
Provide advanced business knowledge, process knowledge, and technical support for systems development. Work closely with project members and requesters identifying deliverables and functions throughout a project lifecycle. Ensure the project or effort is adequately managed via metrics.
Provide technical and advisory support for staff to ensure the development and implementation of applications. May participate in the definition and development of project requirements and analyze requirements to provide a recommended solution.
Ensure a successful delivery, which may include: development and management of overall project plan, schedule, status reporting, escalations, testing, user approval, final corrections, and methodology compliance.
Manage relationship with project team throughout GTO, which may include the project requesters. Provide senior management level status reports.
Log, track, and resolve project, business or release related issues. Coordinate multiple project efforts.
Demonstrate leadership qualities, display mentoring/coaching ability, project leadership and delegation, follow-through, and team participation skills.
Assist in developing long-range plans and strategies to achieve business growth. Assist in departmental strategic direction.
Support a team of Scrum Masters in their execution and responsibilities and iterative delivery of software solutions that deliver business value.
Interact with the Product Owner to support the product backlog definition/refinement/prioritization to feed sprints.
Some travel may be required.
