Enterprise Architect

Chicago,IL/ onsite from day 1 

W2 /1099 Only 

Responsibilities:

 

Technologist with Deep Experience in driving enterprise Digital Customer Experience for large enterprises

Strong Business & Functional Expertise in Architectures, including CMS, eCommerce, and Customer Experience.

Preferred experience in driving Digital Transformation Strategy and Roadmap for enterprises

High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision

Should have the willingness to pick up new Technology and Domain skills quickly

Being part of at least one architecture implementations for large enterprises, preferably insurance industry or multiple related product divisions with unified customer support and sales channels

Sound technical depth - ability to deep-dive into technical architecture and design

Solid understanding of the industry and the technology and market trends

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate IT concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences

Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

Should be flexible to Travel on short notice


Primary / Must Have Skills

 

Experience with any one of the modern MACH (Microservices, API (Application Programming Interface) First, Cloud First, Headless) Architectures

Bring strong experience headless user interface development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React & Node)

Deep experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs, and solid understanding of microservices-based architecture patterns

Familiarity with modern Omnichannel Commerce solution components - Experience Management, CMS (Content Management System), Search, Order Management, PIM (Product Information Management), etc.

Expertise on Public Cloud Platforms (AWS) - IaaS/PaaS Services, DevOps pipeline, Security, Compliance, Cloud Monitoring etc.

Strong Domain & Functional Expertise in Omnichannel Commerce and ecosystem - Digital Marketing, Analytics, Search, User Experience Management, CMS, PIM, Mobile and Social Platforms

Business Development & Technical Pre-sales experience - Provide pre-sales and solutions support in RFP (Request for Proposal) Process - Gather business and technical requirements, perform fit-gap analysis against the shortlisted COTS platforms, develop target solution architecture, estimates, showcase POCs/Demos etc.

Hands on Experience in Architecting, Designing, Implementation and Global Roll-out of Omnichannel solutions for large enterprises

Strong Technical background and experience in Architecting, Designing, Implementation of complex enterprise web applications for large enterprises using Java/J2EE technologies, frameworks, and design patterns

Extensive hands-on development background in Java, J2EE, REST APIs (Application Programming Interface) (Application Programming Interface)

Experience with Agile and DevOps Implementations and software engineering processes


Desirable / Good to Have Skills

 

Experience with event correlation across multiple channels

Experience in designing Microservices applications using common industry technologies and frameworks

Experience in setting up Container Cluster and Orchestration using Docker Swarm or Kubernetes


Roles and Responsibilities:

 

Quickly define a comprehensive and executable roadmap and technology strategy for large enterprises which create a unified experience across channels and product lines based on stated business goals and existing solution gaps.

Interact with customers to discuss their business challenges and help them evaluate and arrive at the best-fit technology solution for their requirement

Drive Solution and POC (proof of concept) / Prototype development

Participate in requirement gathering and/or technical workshop with customers

Collaborate with delivery teams to assess work effort for the solution. Architect and design solutions and provide support and technical guidance for successful implementation.

Working with practice leadership on reviewing technology trends to determine strategic areas for future investments

Participate in business development through proactive or competitive bids (RFx), proposals, and creating compelling vision for customers
