Job Description
Summary
We are seeking an IT quality assurance coordinator to lead and oversee testing activities across multiple projects. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality deliverables, driving continuous improvement in testing processes, and maintaining strong alignment between QA efforts and business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep QA expertise, and a collaborative mindset.
Job Responsibilities
Lead testing initiatives across multiple projects, developing comprehensive testing strategies and plans aligned with product requirements and timelines.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Manage and mentor a team of testers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Design and implement effective test cases, test scripts, and test data to validate functionality, performance, and security.
Oversee execution of test cycles, ensuring thorough documentation of results and defects.
Facilitate defect resolution by working closely with development and product teams.
Utilize test management tools to track progress and report on quality metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
Continuously evaluate and enhance testing methodologies, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Required skills:
5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with a proven track record managing complex testing projects
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., DevOps, Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla, Mantis).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with a deep understanding of Agile testing practices.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
Basic understanding of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) for automation purposes.
