  • Engage in API and performance testing activities, contributing to test plans and cases for API functionality and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with development and product teams to comprehend testing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and performance testing.
  • Participate in regression testing initiatives to identify and resolve issues.
  • Analyze test results and performance metrics, providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in API and performance testing methodologies

Typical Day:

  • Engage in API and performance testing activities, contributing to test plans and cases for API functionality and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with development and product teams to comprehend testing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and performance testing.
  • Participate in regression testing initiatives to identify and resolve issues.
  • Analyze test results and performance metrics, providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in API and performance testing methodologies

Technical Skills Required:

  • Fundamental understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.?Strong eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software testing.
  • Proven experience in manual and automated software testing, including hands-on experience with API testing frameworks such as Karate, Postman, or RestAssured for API testing or JMeter for performance testing.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is advantageous.

Soft Skills Required:

Education Requirements:

  • NO degree and/or Associates, must have 10+ years' experience required in this capacity.
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's degree must have 8+ years' experience required.
