Responsibilities:
This role will be supporting Sky Voice/Natural Language Processing team working on intelligent voice assistants for entertainment, digital home, and customer care
The Goal of this position is to Provide a reliable and repeatable methodology and process to handoff to product development to production. The benefit of this project is that we hope to reduce customer facing errors and defects through automation and testing.
Scope of Work:
* Work with Product owners, Engineering and other internal teams to identify technical and functional needs of the system and ensure integrated test design and delivery.
* Designing and building automated tests and patterns for unit testing, functional testing and end-to-end system tests.
* Develop and utilize in-house tools to assist in automation efforts through development process.
* Take an active part in working with other team members to provide expertise surrounding our testing strategy and automation roadmap
* Provide guidance on industry standard tools and help select new tools and technologies to improve our automation process
* Ensure that internal quality processes are followed and help produce artifacts for verification and validation plans, test reports, and other documentation that complies with requirements.
* Develop/run load tests as needed
Key Deliverables:
* Designing and building automated tests and patterns for unit testing, functional testing and end-to-end system tests.
* Develop and utilize in-house tools to assist in automation efforts through development process.
* Creation of test reports and quality metrics
* Creation of automated test suites for existing and new features.
* Triage and resolve customer incidents.
* Documentation and reports as required.
