Title: Quality Assurance Analyst is needed in Boca Raton, FL- Only Locals Please

JOB SCOPE:

GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. Title: Quality Assurance Analyst
2. Work authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in US)
3. Must-have skills: Systems development, testing, quality assurance
4. Location: Boca Raton, FL - Locals Only
5. Client: Florida Department of Transportation - FDOT (Tallahassee)
6. Rate: Very Competitive as this is junior/entry level position
7. Seniority: Entry
8. Start Date: ASAP
9. Type: Temporary Project
10. Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE – MUST/MANDATORY TO BE VISIBLE ON RESUME
1. Systems development, testing and/or business experience (3-5 years);
2. Experience working on multiple programs/systems as a project team member;
3. Experience working on projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environments;
4. Experience coaching more junior technical staff;
5. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. Or equivalent work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications;
2. Perform test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution;
3. Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status;
4. Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrate them into business processes to address the business needs;
5. Document all problems and assist in their resolution;
6. Deliver quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners;
7. Perform quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed.
