Role: ERP Quality Assurance Manager Duration:12-month contract opportunity Location: Remote work is an option however, candidate is required to be onsite for up to two weeks per month (South Chicago). The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will work with our client?s systems integration (SI) vendor to, develop, implement, and maintain a quality process, including quality control over deliverables, and reliability testing for the organization?s products and development processes. The scope of work is for Oracle Cloud including Core Financials, Projects, Grants, and Supply Chain This position will support activities related to the FST program, including deliverable quality management, testing, and defect management. The Quality Assurance Manager will work closely with the program manager, project managers, business transformation team, and vendor resources to support the successful completion of the project. Duties and Responsibilities: ? Develop, implement, and manage processes and collaborate with the University?s Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) partner to ensure that the implemented Oracle Cloud ERP meets required specifications for quality, function, and reliability ? Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters ? Collaborate with users, functional workstream, technical workstream, and the client?s Systems Integration (SI) partner to develop test plans, validate test cases and scenarios, and advise on lessons learned based on trends identified during testing cycles. ? Analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommend and facilitate solution to these issues ? Reviews client, customer, and user feedback ? Maintains compliance with regulations, guidelines, and policies ? Work with client departments and participating affiliates to confirm business needs are fully addressed in testing ? Facilitate and lead discussions in ?white board? sessions surrounding quality initiatives. ? Use best practices and in-depth knowledge to manage deliverable quality throughout the project lifecycle, including design, and test execution. Utilize automated testing as appropriate. Qualifications Education/Experience Required ? Minimum requirements include a college or University degree in related field. ? Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 3+ years of work experience in a related job discipline. ? Experience working with business users to determine needs ? Experience with testing and similar quality assurance initiatives ? Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline. ? Experience working with defect management systems ? Experience with ERP projects Preferred Qualifications ? PMP Certification ? MBA Skills: ? Strong verbal and written communication skills ? Strong interpersonal and customer service skills ? Attention to detail ? Analytical and problem-solving skills ? Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software ? Ability to collaborate and be a team player ? Ability to learn new content areas and skills quickly ? Experience in ERP full lifecycle implementations ? Experience with quality assurance or testing Physical Demands: ?
