Job Overview:
This person will be Senior Quality Assurance Personnel (QA) to develop and execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. This professional will be responsible to plan, strategize, design, develop and deliver tests (manual/automated) on functional, non-functional, API and data flow levels, track quality assurance metrics, identify risks/issues and work with project stakeholders to ensure high quality solution delivery. Senior associate QA must have thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and testing lifecycle.
The individual is expected to align with the agile delivery methodologies and keep pace with the rapid changes in the firm's operations and policies/procedures.
Please note, for optimization, we expect this person to play BA role as well during initial weeks.
Must Haves:
Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL), should be able to analyze, compare and profiling data sets
5+ year of experience supporting data (ETL), reporting (Tableau BOBJ) & system integration testing.
2+ year of hands-on experience with Selenium, GIT, Appium, Jenkins and Maven (or similar automation frameworks). Hands on experience with designing, developing and implementing test automation frameworks for functional, regression and API level test cases
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working in agile / iterative SDLC environments.
Ability to groom stories, breakdown in enablers / smaller stories
Ability to define test strategy. Ability to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans.
Experience with testing at various levels (unit, functional, non-functional, integration, user acceptance, regression, load and performance testing).
Experience with using Confluence, Jira and HP ALM tools.
Ability to work closely with software development team to reproduce and debug issues.
Nice to haves:
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. architect, developers and product managers) to identify & document system requirements.
Review and analyze requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Ability to define and report high level and detailed QA status via easy to read test results dashboards tracking/reporting on solution quality.
Exposure to test automation framework for ETL, Report & System integration testing
Good to have understanding on AWS Services
Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent education/professional experience is required
