Job Description :
ROLE
Analyzes target applications/systems under test to derive effective automated test scenarios.
Collaborates with functional test teams to develop and execute automation.
Helps to analyze test results and discovered defects.
Creates, maintains and enhances automation framework.
Maintains automated testing tools as needed.
Provides accurate project estimates for assigned tasks as requested by the automation lead.
Supports the functional test teams in their execution of manual and automated cases.
Ensures the completeness and accuracy of all documentation for assigned work products.
Keeps current on technology related to areas of focus.
Adheres to Clients quality standards with a focus on continuous quality improvement.
Available for 24x7 on call support as necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum of five or more (5+) years of progressive, hands-on software quality assurance experience, with a sound understanding of Quality processes and methodologies and their purpose / place within the SDLC.
Fluency in at least one high-level programming language (C desired.
Experience with test automation software packages such as Ranorex.
Experience with RDBMS development, proficient in SQLs; test data schema creation and maintenance, is required.
Working knowledge of HP ALM.
Experience with RDBM development, proficient in SQL.
Understanding of object oriented design and programming concepts and principles is a must.
Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining test automation frameworks and libraries.
Excellent skills in all of the following areas: analysis and problem solving, good development practices, troubleshooting, and code maintenance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; communications must be appropriately targeted, technically accurate, and effective.
Proven ability to work under pressure and to effectively multitask.
Willingness and ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion with minimal guidance.
Recommended
4-year degree in computer science, related technical field or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrable mentoring and training automation skills to/with onsite/offsite team members.
Functional knowledge of SAP Finance applications a plus.
