Position:Python Developer
Location:Reston, VA
Duration: 12+ month extendable contract
Required Skills:
Senior Python Developer with AWS and Testing experience
This team supports primarily Python code (80%) , with some Java code (20%)
Python experience is preferred, with conceptual knowledge of Python and strong initiative to quickly learn Python coding skills
This is a BACK-END role. NO UI or Web-Based Applications
Hands-On experience testing, debugging and troubleshooting REST API’s implemented using Python or Java
Understand and apply XML / JSON concepts
Strong in writing SQL queries to perform backend data validations AND UNIX commands / scripting
Hands – On AWS Experience
Applications are deployed in EMR, Lambda and Kinesis streaming.
Redshift RDS and storage is S3
Experience with following native services is preferred: S3, Elastic Bean Stalk, RDS, Cloud Watch, SNS, SQS
Processing real-time data with Kinesis experience is preferred NOT REQUIRED
