Strong working experience with Linux production systems (RHEL, OEL, Ubuntu
Demonstrated proficiency with a scripting/coding language(s) – One of these would be an advantage Perl, Python, Ruby, shell.
Demonstrated proficiency with a configuration management tool a plus - Puppet, Ansible.
Exposure to one or more of monitoring/alerting tools and platforms such as Splunk, SignalFx, TICK, Grafana, Icinga, nagios, logicmonitor etc
Embrace DevOps and Infra-as-Code culture with the right mindset to automate everything possible.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment technologies such as: Jenkins CI, and Artifactory.
Should have exposure to agile methodology and working in an onshore-offshore model.
High reasoning aptitude and ability to quickly understand a complex operating environments.
Proficient in good documentation practices.
Self-starter that enjoys learning new tools, technologies, and most of all, solving problems.
System level troubleshooting.
