Project Manager/Technical Subject Matter Expert (TSME: Integration Analytics)
The project manager /Technical Subject Matter expert takes LIPA''s Information Technology projects, Enterprise Reporting, and Advanced Analytics from the original concept through the final implementation. Provides technical oversight and direction of a designated project to ensure project requirements and objectives are accomplished.
Ensures technical solutions are appropriately implemented. Responsible for all aspects of the development and integration of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact (Technical)for those projects. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project, including end-users IT staff, Project Managers and vendors.
Duties/Responsibilities
Work with the Project Managers to define project scope and objectives.
Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
Provides management and technical direction of the project and offers internal planning, guidance, and management structure for tracking the accomplishment of work assigned.
Manages the integration of project tasks and tracks and reviews project deliverables.
Develops data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems.
Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions.
Establishes strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and data reusability to build a consistent, well-managed, and well-integrated data warehouse infrastructure.
Oversees and reviews the implementation of software, data systems, and data networks to ensure that the integrity and security of all electronic data and data systems are adequately protected.
Provides technical direction and analysis for integration activities, including planning, designing, installing, and maintaining enterprise-wide and complex specialized systems.
Acts as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
Areas of expertise:
Ten years of IT experience (System Development/Integration) with at least 3-5 years of hands-on implementation experience with ERP, Analytic and Reporting solutions, Budget planning, and forecasting solutions, and system integration.
At least 15 years of progressive experience in Application development/ system integration and support.
Must have extensive knowledge of relational database • Bachelors'' degree in computer science, engineering, or in a related
3 Hands-on experience in managing implementation(s) of Reporting and Advanced Analytics and DataWarehouse Systems in the utility industry.
