Job Description: Technical Project Manager New York, NY (Initially Remote) Contract to Hire "We'd like to broaden our search to include sys admins/senior system engineers and escalations candidates that have some experience on the project side of things but would perhaps like to expand their careers as a project manager. It would be ideal for the candidate to have practical, hands-on experience with Azure/AWS & hybrid environments, email migrations to Office 365 & GSuite, data migrations to SharePoint/Gsuite and some advanced security deployments utilizing MDM software like InTune & JAMFquot; Skills are on a scale of 1-5 (1 dabbled, 3-intermediate, 5 expert) Project Manager: 5+ years' experience: Project Management (3+) Networking design & implementation (3+) Server design & implementation (3+) Writing & Client communication (4+) Responsibility: Meet with sales and client success team to understand project scope, estimates, and goals. Attend all project meetings internally and with client Completing projects on schedule Staying in scope and interfacing with client and internal sales team when scope changes Regular and clear communication with the client on progress and upcoming milestones Provide, accurate, timely, and detailed documentation of all technical and client care issues Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Keep Accurate notes and time tracking Ensuring that a strong technical solution is implemented based on standards wherever possible Smooth handoffs to the account teams Requirements: Minimum B.S. or B.A. from a 4 year accredited university Experience with support and migrations for various cloud services, such as Box, Dropbox, G Suite, and Office 365 Top tier skills with desktop and mobile troubleshooting (PC, Mac, iPhone, etc Solid Microsoft Windows Server experience, including server setups, DNS, DHCP, etc. Good networking skills, including business-class routers, firewalls, switches and wireless access points.
