•Define project scope and schedule/timeline while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.
•Organize and lead project status and working meetings
•Collect, prepare, and distribute progress reports
•Manage risks, issues and action items and maintain project specific RAID 
•Correct deviations from plans
•Perform delivery planning for assigned projects
•Work with resource managers to identify and manage the required resources for various project assignment(s)
•Leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
•Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work
•Communication and rapport with external contractors (where applicable)
•Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables
•Managing stakeholder communications
•Helping to implement an effective system of project governance
•Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management
•Assist with one or more functions of the Portfolio Management office
•Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution 
•Encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team
 
Required Skills:
•Firm understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
•A proven track record of successfully implementing IT projects including technical projects or program involving software upgrades, product replacement, IT transformation or modernization etc. using Agile methodologies. 
•Balanced business/technical background:
oSufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership to development teams and to be able to evaluate complex project risks and issues accurately and objectively
oAbility to provide leadership to system analysts, system administration and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
•Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
•Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
•Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
 
•Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a field related to technology, such as computer science, software engineering, IT, cybersecurity, or management information systems
•One or more IT Certification such as PMP, CSM, PPM, PMI-ACP 
•3 years’ experience as Project Manager managing IT Projects from initiation to close out managing medium to large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function team
•2 years’ experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects
•2 years’ experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Developers, System Administrators, QA Personnel and application users
•2 years’ experience using tools, such as:
oAgile Project Management tools such as Jira, Greenhopper, Rally, VersionOne or equivalent
oProject Management tools such as MPP, Smartsheet, Acuity, Trello
oMicrosoft Office suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, SharePoint
oVideo conferencing: MS Teams and Zoom
Tool administration of any of above tools, is a big plus
 
2 years’ experience working in IT Team in role of a Tester, Systems Analyst or QA, preferred
