The current product teams include: Ontario.ca platform 3 teams web content management, structured data, application integration Ontario's design system intended for use across all digital products Notify - a developer facing product that enables government teams to use API for sending on demand or batch emails, SMS messages and programmable voice calls 3 teams - Ontario's COVID information, tools, and case and vaccination data Digital Dealership Registration a product in development specifically for vehicle dealerships to streamline the process of registering and transferring vehicle ownerships Digital Identity (4 product teams) a series of products in development designed to enable the public and organizations to use digital identity verification services for government and non-government needs To support the work and enhance the OPS' digital capabilities, the ODS is seeking an experienced Senior Agile Project Leader to support the delivery of products and lead team members with adopting agile ways of working and modern, iterative approaches. This role will have a unique opportunity to build leading digital government products and services that impact an Ontarians' day- to-day government experience. Ideal candidates will be internally motivated individual contributors that have a passion for resolving complex problems for the citizens of Ontario. Skills Experience and Skill Set Requirements Agile project management 40% Experience setting up the agile environment your team needs to build and iterate on a user-centred service Experience leading and coordinating the team including daily stand-ups, sprints planning and backlog grooming Experience with user centred design practices and processes Experience with an iterative approach to product development and testing Experience with agile engineering methods and a broad range of internet technologies such as common internet protocols, web analytics, semantic markup, REST, and other foundational web topologies that underpin modern digital applications Collaboration and facilitation 30% Experience with planning and facilitating product and extended team's work through collaborative and interactive work sessions Experience managing the agile process for a multi-disciplinary teams that include a product manager, software developers, user researchers, designers, dev/ops, content creators and other subject matter experts Experience helping your product teams become better at autonomously organizing their own work Communications and relationships 30% Outstanding interpersonal skills and experience navigating complex issues and stakeholders. Experience building strong relationships across organizations Experience creating and presenting information for different audiences Experience communicating timelines and progress to audiences with different levels of experience with agile practices Experience flagging an removing obstacles or 'blockers' to progress
