Key Desired Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 8-12 years of experience in IT and business/industry
  • Five to seven years of leadership responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience in leading systems implementation projects in a consulting or leading capacity
  • Experience creating or using implementation templates and standardized implementations
  • Experience managing systems implementation projects, including budgets and resources
  • Experience in one or more of the following insurance lines is preferred: P&C, Employee Benefits, Specialty Retail, Retirement and Private Wealth, 401k Pension Benefits, or MGA / MGU / Wholesale
  • Experience with insurance brokerage is a plus
  • Technical Experience is a must, with familiarity and high-level knowledge of data infrastructure, insurance applications, application conversion, networking infrastructure, and cybersecurity
  • Experience implementing Policy Administration Systems and other common insurance applications is a plus
  • Effective program management, able to efficiently manage timelines, resources, and financials for M&A projects
  • Excellent vendor and client relationship management skills, and effective management of internal and external expectations, including regional leaders and business stakeholders at the acquired company
  • Can ensure technology solutions comply and are aligned with enterprise architectural standards
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results
  • Able to bind business to systems architecture, making sound decisions with a customer focus and financial awareness
  • High business, financial, and IT delivery acumen, able to lead and manage assigned direct reports for continual improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of the group
  • Operations management knowledge, able to understand operations and all the components needed to run a business
  • Can act as the key point of contact for the assigned integration projects to promote effective and timely communication
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, workflow engines, time tracking, and resource allocation systems
  • This position reports into Chicago and can be based anywhere in the U.S. (i.e., remote/virtual)
