Project Manager with Disaster Recovery

Katy, TX (100% Onsite)

Job Description:

  • Ability to Plan, manage, monitor project workstreams and interdependencies
  • Lead various project ceremonies and act as a servant leader for the project teams
  • Ensure all project / program tasks are clearly Identified, assigned and tracked
  • Work with leadership on establishing of Business Objectives and percolate to teams
  • Identify critical program milestones, risks, options to mitigate risks and ensure no impact to overall timelines
  • Effectively manage and report on risks and mitigation, scope, budget and timelines
  • Be able to Identify, Analyze and Clarify issues early in the life cycle of projects
  • Assess issues by identifying likely root causes and consequences
  • Create plan of action and effectively monitor the implementation plan to address the issues/risks
  • Ensure project documentation required per ASO PMO process
  • Work on resource capacities and staffing needs to fulfil the projects delivery
  • Reporting of project progress through Measures and Metrics as part of program/project governance
  • SLA management as deemed necessary applicable to various vendors and service providers
  • Maintaining and updates to project documentation per the project and program needs via SharePoint, Confluence
  • Ability to run and steer project standups, weekly and monthly connects with project sponsors and executive leadership (as deemed necessary)
  • Know when and how to escalate. May not always be able to solve a problem, but understands when to escalate issues and areas of risk and obtain guidance
  • Consider project needs when planning vacation time and proactively communicates availability

  • Knowledge on IT Architecture and Networking Principles
  • Program/Project Management Skills
  • Exposure and working experience on ITIL/CMMI SVC/ISO 20000 frameworks
  • Design and Implementation of Disaster Recovery Framework
  • Working experience of Creation, Implementation and Sustenance of Business Continuity Plans will be a greater advantage
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Effective communicator with conflict resolution ability
  • Strong mix of Technical & Leadership traits
  • Desire to develop and Implement innovative solutions,
  • Willingness to contribute to efforts at both the technical and managerial levels, and the ability to communicate complex ideas.
