Job Description :
Role: Project Manager
Location: Chelsea, MA
Duration: 6+ Months

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall planning and management of cloud workspace setup
Define project scope and objectives and ensure that project stakeholders’ expectations are in-line with project scope and deliverables.
Develop, manage and maintain a detailed Work Plan/ Project Schedule.
Manage the day-to-day project activities, actively monitor project performance, measure / track progress, make adjustments as needed and identify areas for improvement to remove blockers and keep the project on track.
Analyze and Identify resources needed to reach project objectives, coordinate internal and third-party resources and creatively manage potential resource constraints in an effective and efficient manner to successfully execute the project.
Understand complex technical scenarios and requirements and ferret out obstacles to progress and suggest alternative strategies and directions.
Responsible for reporting status of the Project to Business Management, including the articulation of impediments, risk analysis, risk mitigations, timeline and budget impacts.
Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communication. Communicate and interact with DOR business representatives and Executive/Senior Management and Project Team members on status of specific projects. Produce project meeting minutes and project reports.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project planning and execution.
Successfully manage the relationship with the business, technical team and vendors and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to mitigate project risks.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Excellent leadership, planning, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
Experience managing cloud-based initiatives; Amazon Web Services Gov Cloud experience preferred.
Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector.
Excellent knowledge about all aspects of information technology specifically with complex environments.
Expert hands on knowledge of building a critical path and integrated plans.
Command of Schedule, Scope, Budget, Quality and Benefits at all times in the life cycle of the project.
Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
Strong working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office products.
Demonstrated success in identifying and managing risks and issues. Strong persuasion, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Excellent critical thinking, observation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Ability to see the big picture but also detailed oriented and able to roll up sleeves and dive into the weeds and get things accomplished. Ability to be versatile and jump between tasks without losing momentum.
Capability to take initiative and be Self-directed: able to work alone; if needed, identify the work to be done, and take the action needed without explicit direction of the steps.
