Job Description :

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT project management with capability of managing complex, cross-functional IT projects. experience working in a project portfolio management environment involving external delivery partners and multiple software vendors

  • Strong issue & problem management skills, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills are required
  • Masters-level knowledge of Microsoft’s entire productivity suite including Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive, Project and/or Planner. Power BI a plus
  • Prior project management of large public sector IT projects, with understanding of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts practices, policies and budgeting is a major plus
  • Familiarity with organizational change management including end user training
  • Experience creating and implementing plans according to project goals and objectives
  • Working knowledge of project management concepts as defined by PMI
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and ITIL concepts, Theory of Constraints a plus
  • Experience in working and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a highly matrixed environment
  • Ability to handle multiple, concurrent priorities with little or no direction, and meet established timeline
  • Strong written and presentation skills, ability to tailor information to an audience in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact, influence, manage and negotiate effectively at all levels including senior level management
  • Demonstrated leadership with strong organizational and customer service skills with attention to detail; process redesign experience highly desired
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and release management methodologies .
