Job Description :
We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Project Manager role.
Applies standard project management practices within Agile (Scrum) teams, with a solid understanding of both Agile methodologies and the PMI framework. Establishes effective project organization and methodologies aligned with business and technical goals. Collaborates closely with key stakeholders and facilitates clear communication between clients and IT teams. Develops essential project artifacts such as project charters and work plans. Provides technical and on-call support as needed. Effectively understands and communicates complex technical solutions and business processes. Prepares and delivers presentations to leadership and oversight groups. Acts as a business or technical analyst when required, with flexibility for on-call support based on project demands.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead design and development efforts across the project lifecycle
  • Manage projects using feature-driven Agile methodology, ensuring alignment with timelines and tracking progress
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans
  • Identify and document risks, issues, and contingency plans; drive issue resolution and remove project roadblocks
  • Deliver weekly written and verbal status updates; facilitate regular team status meetings
  • Oversee the creation of SDLC artifacts, ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications
  • Guide and support the full SDLC process
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively through presentations and team collaboration
  • Foster strong teamwork and knowledge transfer to existing staff
 
Required Skills:
  • Project Management Experience for large-scale Enterprise Implementations
  • State of Texas or Similar Federal/State Project Management Experience
  • Development Experience

  • PMP Certification
