Role: Project Coordinator (Infra) Location: Mississauga, ON Mode: Contract Soft Skills i. Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills ii. Ability to communicate effectively with project leadership Experience 1. Good knowledge of project management methodology to manage a medium complex Infra project. 2. At least 1 year of experience in supporting relevant technology/application & Infra projects. 3. Ability to lead multi-function project team through influencing skills 4. Basic understanding of Risk / Issue management 5. Ability to create / update executive level PowerPoint presentations with direction 6. Reasonable skill using Microsoft Project to drive project execution 7. Ability to understand interdependencies and can connect the dots on how one part of a project impacts another 8. Hosting meetings, taking meeting notes, and documenting action items 9. Tracking action items and working with owners to obtain status 10. Ability to organize and communicate information to project sponsor Interactions i. Small to Medium complex project being managed will typically have: a. Individual team members from 3-5 cross functional teams and/or service providers b. 1-2 Service providers needed to delivery key technology (e.g., hardware, software, network components per solution design c. Involve several technology area with solution design (network circuits, laptop clients, VM server, etc d. A few business customers impacted by project delivery within a sector geography ii. Directs project team activities by influencing cross functional team members without direct line of authority (daily) iii. Effective communication with project sponsor, Manager / Director, in customer organization (weekly) iv. Status presentation and Stage Gate approval meeting with Directors and Sr Directors (Monthly) v. IT Services Suppliers coordination to deliver needed IT Services required for project delivery vi. Works with EPMO Governance Analyst to align on key project artifacts and gains alignment on project governance
