Job Description :

Role: Production Support Engineer

Location: Ashburn, Virginia

Duration: 6 Months

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
Candidate will be designing and developing complex applications including production support for critical applications. Description
• Must be able to obtain public trust clearance
• 6+ years' experience with Oracle PL/SQL (SQL Developer or TOAD)
• Must be able to take requirements from the Govt Sales Support Teams ICD and design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain checksum audit process BASH scripts for data file feeds
• Position is both development and production support, therefor, need problem solving skills to diagnose when data feeds fail and trace the issue back to the source
• Familiarity with JIRA for requirement and issue tracking is a plus
• 2+ years' experience with Unix shell scripting (BASH) as primary developer for the Checksum Audit Process
• 2+ years' experience with INFORMATICA, PowerCenter Designer, PowerCenter Workflow Manager, PowerCenter Repository Manager (version 10.4 or higher)
• Familiarity with Cognos Business Intelligence and/or Cognos 11.x Analytics and Framework Manager
DESIRED SKILLS:
3+ years' experience with .Net
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Computer science degree or requisite experience
