Job Description:
The Production / Manufacturing Consultant takes process-based approach to address key business challenges, work with clients to improve their internal capabilities using consulting skills, business process knowledge, and other methodologies and tools to analyze issues and drive solutions to transform the client's business. The Consultant is responsible for performing discovery, capturing requirements, engaging subject matter experts and stakeholders, translating requirements, and configuring the solution and applications.
The Production / Manufacturing Functional Consultant will provide high level of expertise on D365 processes and funtionalities that are needed to address the customers requirements and also to recommend best practices.
Role:
Hands-on implementation and deployment of Production / Manufacturing Modules in D365 F&O
Good understanding of EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) and atleast 2 projects with hands-on implemention experience.
Working collaboratively with customer stakeholders to implement and leverage MS Dynamics 365 F&O using best development and implementation methodologies.
Participate in D365 FO implementations throughout all project stages including analysis, design, development, test, and support
Advise customer organization on solution usage and help minimize gaps between standard product features and customer's business processes.
Run workshops with your clients, consultants and client leaders to analyze and design solutions for any application, and handle gaps detected during prototyping
Work with the technical team to make sure that the clients' needs are incorporated into the specifications and functions
Create or evaluate a breakdown of the clients' businesses processes so that functional and non-functional requirements are identified and linked
Documents settings and prepare your clients to use the system
Prepare functional specification for customizations required
Prepare User Manuals and deliver training to end users
Prepare test script and conduct user acceptable testing
Provide pre-go live and post go live end user support
Proactively identify, analyse, and respond to issues and risks.
Promote teamwork, mentor, and train consultants on best practices, project methodology, and professional client service.
Work with project managers and team leaders to cater for change management and resource changes in the project
Assist with any other necessary task as required.
Knowledge and Expertise:
With at least 8 years of relevant experience in MS Dynamics with specialization in Production / Manufacturing modules
Must have good knowledge of Manufacturing module, EAM modules, Knowledge of Workflow configuration and setup
Strong experience in managing senior business users
Strong understanding of industry-standard business practices
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members
Strong documentation skills
Microsoft Dynamics Production / Manufacturing / T&L certification desirable
Highly confident with providing support and training to users
Willing to travel
