R&D & Clinical Applications Support - L2 support of R&D & Clinical applications used in day-to-day scientific use at Irvine and other sites
Lab Operations Support (Mandatory):
• L2 support for lab IT operations at Irvine site, installation/administration of scientific software used in lab computers & instruments with visual interfaces. Scope will be limited to IT support only.
• Periodic coordination with lab users for new instrument setup/preventive maintenance/computer upgrades (scope will be limited to IT support only).
Spotfire Support (Optional):
• L2 support of Spotfire (data analytics) platform.
Skill Set:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a clinical/R&D lab as a Application administrator.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in administering a data analytics platform. Spotfire system administration experience strongly preferred.
• Should have prior experience with databases, preferably SQL Server.
• Should have prior experience with writing basic SQL queries.
• Must have good knowledge in Windows operating system including Event Logs, Services, system settings, device management and Network Settings.
• Must have basic knowledge of Active Directory and networking concepts to troubleshoot everyday application issues.
• Good to have some experience using Powershell, to automate tasks.
• Should have prior experience working with a support ticket system, preferably Service Now.
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
