Required Skills:
- Roles and Responsibility: EHS Specialist and Product Owner of COTS software - WERCS.
- Build and enhance software solutions for WERCS supporting environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance across multiple countries and jurisdictions involving designing configurable, scalable systems that adapt to evolving global regulations, helping businesses maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
- Promote the products, give demos, and prove the impact of your solutions.
- Analyze business processes and operational workflows to understand user needs and improvement opportunities, solicit, interpret, and synthesize user requirements, and contribute to product design activities to translate these requirements into elegant, workable and well-integrated digital products that maximize value and impact.
- Collaborate with the Digital delivery teams and other Digital functions to effectively communicate product requirements and ensure that solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and on value in an agile manner.
- Define, monitor, and achieve product success and value metrics.
Required Skill Set:
- Strong systems background in and proficiency with WERCS and its functionalities in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment
- Experience in Software development (SDLC)
- Hazard Communication Expert responsible for classifications and labelling (includes dangerous goods classifications with SME inputs).
- Knowledge in regulatory and risk management assessment for compliance to applicable regulations including but not limited to GHS, DG, TSCA, OSHA, EPA, EU REACH, ECHA, etc.
- Determine U.S. and International transportation hazard classifications. Understand laws and regulations (e.g. OSHA, GHS, REACH) governing SDS authoring, downstream chemical distribution, and hazardous chemical management within the Environmental Health and Safety industry.
- Lead projects and assist the stakeholders and business owners to meet business objectives and overall compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of WERCS initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
