JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Platform performance monitoring - Monitor and address KPIs, platform error spikes, collaborate with development lead to identify areas of performance improvements
2. Bug triaging and scheduling - Attend daily bug triaging sessions, determine priority and severity for platform related issues, and collaborate with scrum team to prioritize within existing or upcoming sprint(s)
3. Platform release management & socialization - Collaborate with development lead to prepare upcoming release details, author release notes and socialize across program, work with engineering leads to schedule future releases based on overall program release schedule
4. Monitor customer feedback from social media and app store reviews - Identify themes and areas of improvement based on social feedback, create bugs for reproducible issues as needed, collaborate with development lead to determine if issues are platform based or within the common code base
5. Authoring and refining features and stories specific to internal development teams - Continuous refinement and continuous planning, work with project leads to create high fidelity features as needed, work with scrum team to break down features into stories, prepare upcoming development cycles based on program priority and team capacity, participate in quarterly planning ceremonies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1) Manages product development activities including product requirements gathering and definition using agile safe SDLC methodology, including the ability to develop Epics, features and stories, and long-term tactical roadmaps as well as PI planning.
2) Communicates product requirements and provides subject matter expertise to various organizations such as IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Sales.
3) Develops, maintains, and distributes, standard project management deliverables for the successful launch of new data applications and devices, including implementation plan, project schedule, issues & action items log, meeting minutes, risks assessment and contingencies.
4) Create and manage a status dashboard which provides on-going view into the health of the project.
5) Troubleshooting of complex issues & finding creative & innovative solutions to problems and tracking through to resolution.
6) Assignments may include development of new emerging products, enhancements, and major re-engineering design modifications of existing products.
7) Analysis problem solving: Solves unique problems through evaluative judgment/precedent. Independently applies sophisticated analysis in evaluating issues. Develops new concepts/methods/techniques for cross functional initiatives. Recognizes/pursues alternative methods.
8) Independence guided by department goals/objectives. Exercises latitude in determining objectives/approaches to projects. Leads small to medium sized project and technical breadth.
9) Contribution to client technology: Key contributor on complex projects/initiatives. Impacts current and future business opportunities through application of specialized technical/ industry knowledge. Develops methods/techniques based on strategic project objectives.
