Job Description :

The Procurement Analyst supports the procurement function by analyzing purchasing data, supplier performance, and market trends to optimize sourcing strategies, control costs, and improve operational efficiency. This role works closely with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and compliance with procurement policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze procurement and spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and inefficiencies

  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards on spend, supplier performance, and contract compliance

  • Support sourcing initiatives, RFQs/RFPs, and supplier evaluations

  • Monitor supplier pricing, lead times, and service levels

  • Assist in contract analysis and track key contract milestones

  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to support negotiation strategies

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis

  • Maintain accurate procurement data in ERP or procurement systems

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field

  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or data analysis (adjustable by level)

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, or similar)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with spend analytics or procurement intelligence tools

  • Knowledge of contract management and sourcing processes

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools

  • Professional certifications (CPSM, CIPS, or similar)
