Job Title: Engineering - Process Development Engineer 3

Duration : 18 Months
Worker Location: USA-CA-Milpitas

Job Description: Develops new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products. Involvement may begin at any step from pilot plant to full-scale manufacturing. Coordinates design requirement review with appropriate engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods. Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications. May conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes.
Top Daily Responsibilities:
•       Learn, train and understanding of the tool capabilities to ensure accuracy when creating a new batch of material.  Pre-engineering process prior to technician deposition.
•       Process and analysis of completed deposition and provide feedback to ensure the product is qualified.
•       Create, revise, update all documents pertaining to the product.  By ensuring accuracy with process, tooling, equipment, safety, etc.
Additional Responsibilities:
•       Perform hands-on deposition of particle wafers
•       Perform daily/weekly analysis of the particle wafers
•       Maintain and monitor statistical process control (SPC)
•       Use skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures
•       Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
•       Demonstrate good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
•       Interacts with senior internal personnel
•       Follow all company policies and procedures relating to quality management standards, such as ISO
•       Normally receive little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignment

Required Skills/Experience/Qualification
•       Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, process)
•       Minimum of 5 or more years of manufacturing-related experience preferred
•       Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
•       Familiarity with hand tools to set up fixtures
•       Excellent troubleshooting skills
•       Knowledge of Microsoft software (word, excel)
•       Clean room required
•       100% on site

Preferred Skills:
•       JMP software knowledge
