What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment?
Current projects in-flight are Windows 2008 End of Life remediation, Sharepoint Upgrade, Retirement of legacy domains.
The candidate will primarily provide support for day-to-day operations (lights-on activities/break fixes

(Name of team, size of team, etc This person will be a part of a team of 8 Engineers within the ITS Engineering Department. This team will be comprised of 2 Systems Engineers, 2 Infrastructure Engineers, 2 Network, and 2 Voice Engineers. All report to the Sr. Manager of Infrastructure - Elmer Flordeliza
What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)
Carry out tasks and projects as assigned
Resolve ServiceNow tickets as part of the daily lights on activities
Primarily, manage infrastructure systems (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, MS Certificate Authority, MS Exchange, Sharepoint, Citrix, SCCM [software deployments], Anti-virus, File/Print services, SFTP) and other systems that fall within the Area of Focus for the role
Be an escalation point for the Service Desk and Clinical IT (CIT) Teams
Participate in vulnerability remediation on Systems
Participate in Monthly Maintenance Activities
Patch Management
Upgrading various systems
Support the business with its Line of Business Application (LOB) Deployments
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
This person will be provided with a company issued Windows 10 laptop with the appropriate software, accessories, and permissions necessary to be able perform his/her duties.
What skills/attributes are a must have
Undergraduate degree
10+ years of experience within the field of information technology, mostly systems engineering/administration
7+ years of hands on experience with Active Directory Services (2008 and above) administration, configuration and troubleshooting: DNS, DHCP, Sites and Services, Replication, etc.
7+ years of hands on experience with MS Server OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting: Windows Server 2003-2019
7+ years of hands on experience with MS Exchange (2010-2016) administration, configuration and troubleshooting
Some experience with Citrix XenApp and NetScaler Technology (6.5 and above) Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting
Experience with SCCM Software Deployment
Experience with SFTP
Demonstrates critical thinking and good judgment
Advanced troubleshooting of various technologies
Strong documentation skills
What skills/attributes are nice to have?
5+ years of hands on experience with distributed file system (DFS) and replication
5+ years of hands on experience with Virtualization, Datacenter Migration & Disaster Recovery: VMware ESXi
Experience with installation, and configuration of the Active Directory Certificate Services and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) configuration
Fundamental experience with Networking Technologies: Cisco preferred
Desired Certifications: MCSE, VCP, CCNA, CCAA Citrix XenApp
MS SQL Server 2005 - 2016 installation and troubleshooting
Experience with Ivanti (Landesk) patch management
Experience with RSA or other Dual Factor Authentication
Experience with managing Symantec Endpoint Protection or other Anti-Virus solution
