Position: Power Systems Application Software Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6-12 Months
Job Description
Seeking an experienced Power Systems Application Developer responsible for advanced software development, customization, and delivery of Power System Applications within Energy Management Systems (EMS). The role involves collaboration with Electric Utilities, ISOs, and TSOs to design, develop, test, and implement reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, code, and integrate Power Systems Application software modules.

Collaborate with Electric Utilities, ISOs, and TSOs on functional specifications.

Perform software testing, debugging, and performance tuning.

Manage installations, OS patches, and third-party software setups (e.g., Oracle, NetApp).

Conduct system configuration and source management using GitHub and ClearCase.
Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years in Energy Management Systems (preferably GE e-terra AEMS Reliance).

Proficient in C, Java, SQL, Oracle Database, and shell scripting.

Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.

Experience with GE AEMS Reliance source design and development.

Familiarity with electric utility industry practices.

Ability to analyze logs, debug files, and resolve system issues.
